As president of Higher Ground Financial Group, my first objective is to help Businesses and individuals/families build, protect, and use more of their wealth. At our Firm we help our clients achieve a higher net after tax income at retirement with less risk and little or no money out of pocket. Everyone can benefit by taking some time to do financial planning.

I have over 16 years of management experience in the Insurance and Financial Services arena. I was a top District Sales Manager at Mutual of Omaha achieving the coveted “Field Manager Award” two years in a row. I have achieved the “Leading Partner” award at New York Life the last two years before stepping into the role of Vice President at First Financial Group a Guardian Insurance Agency where I received the Presidential Citation Award.

I have now opened my own financial services agency with an open platform and backed by Ohio National Life Insurance Co. I am always looking to add great individuals to our team. We offer very high commissions, bonuses, health, profit sharing and 401k plus an interim salary for qualified career changers. Our desire is to be a resource to help businesses and families move towards “Financial Success”. Financial Success pertaining to a family or business can mean different things to different people. Success in most areas is best defined as a journey rather than a destination.  We want to place your feet on Higher Ground.

On a personal note, I have been married to Tami and we have 13 children, eight adopted and five by birth.  I am involved in the Frederick community and I am the president of Conquered By Love Ministries (CBL).  At CBL we endeavor to provide actionable, practical resources into the hands of parents to strengthen family relationships.  Tami and I have written 40 books on the subject of strengthening family relationships.  We travel and speak at churches and schools as well as personally coach parents.
